After stupendous work by David Edwards, our Foreman, we were able to donate £1,500 to TeamMax, our chosen charity for 2012. One of our members was in antenatal classes with Max's mum Gail, who set up TeamMax after Max's sudden death, in June 2011, at just 22 months old, from "Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy" (SUDEP). The team's current goal is to fund a research grant, via "Epilepsy Action", into "Difficult to Control Epilepsy in Children" and they are already the best part of half-way towards their £40,000 target.
