Phoenix Clog finished there first season of dancing out at the Boughton Monchelsea Morris Annual Picnic, at the Swan-on-the-Green, West Peckham, Kent. Including their hosts, there were a dozen different Sides attending, with styles ranging through Cotswold, Border and Clog-stepping, as well as North West Morris. The weather it's true was not kind and on a couple of occasions we had to flee heavy downpours, with the hardy amongst us taking shelter under trees and umbrellas, while others sought refuge in the pub, but this did nothing to dampen the spririts and the dancing continued between the showers. All in all a good day, with us ending the season on a high.
